I-294 southbound lanes reopen after car crash

La Grange, Ill. (WLS) -- A car crashed through a guard rail and plunged into a ditch on the Tri-State Tollway Thursday afternoon.

Emergency crews are on the scene of the accident near Wolf Road near La Grange, Ill. All southbound lanes were blocked on I-294 due to the crash. They reopened around 5 p.m.

The number of vehicles involved is unknown and no information was available on any injuries.
