Crete-Monee Middle School to open Thursday

UNIVERSITY PARK, Ill. (WLS) -- Students at Crete-Monee Middle School in south suburban University Park will be allowed back in their classrooms Thursday.

The first day of school was delayed Tuesday because of "safety issues" involving construction work there, according to school district officials.

The district said those concerns have been answered and the school will be able to open.
