CHICAGO (WLS) -- Train service was temporarily suspended from Damen to LaSalle on the CTA's Blue Line after a track fire near the Division subway station Thursday afternoon.

The CTA warns commuters there could be more delays and encouraged riders to find alternative routes, like Bus #56 along Milwaukee.

No injuries were reported. Chicago fire crews were able to quickly extinguish the small fire so service could be restored.
