CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Cubs' home game against the Atlanta Braves is delayed due to rain.
The field was covered in tarp and the Cubs announced the delay around 6:30 p.m. The team tweeted they are aiming to start the game around 8:40 p.m.
During the rain delay, one fan tweeted out video of another fan falling over the outfield wall and apparently injuring himself.
The Cubs released a statement about the incident, saying, "Prior to tonight's game, a fan was injured after attempting to jump onto the field from the Wrigley Field bleachers. The fan was taken by paramedics to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. We are unable to provide further comment on his condition at this time. We will remain in contact with the fan's family to stay updated on his progress."
