ELGIN, Ill. (WLS) -- Daily Herald staff writer Madhu Krishnamurthy talks about two ongoing fundraising projects at a Bartlett elementary school and an Elgin church and how the groups are working to help feed 300 schoolchildren in Ghana and support an orphanage in that West African nation. James Reed, 40, of Elgin, is a teacher at Sycamore Trails and is directing the project through his charity - Two Pennies Ministry.
