Jennifer Graves named Dante award winner

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Joint Civic Committee of Italian Americans handed out its Dante award in the River West neighborhood today.

This year's winner is ABC7 Vice President and News Director Jennifer Graves.

The annual award is given to a member of the local media who's answered Dante Alighieri's call to be "No timid friend to truth."

She joins past winners from ABC7 including Mark Giangreco, Ron Magers, Janet Davies, Frank Mathie and Linda Yu.
