Dolton gas station robbed by two suspects with butcher knife, police say

DOLTON, Ill. (WLS) -- Police are searching for two men that allegedly robbed a Dolton gas station store while carrying a butcher knife, police said.

Officials said the two suspects allegedly robbed the station's store, located in the 700-block of East 142nd Street, on May 20 around 8:14 a.m. Police said the station's clerk suffered non-life threatening injuries during the incident.

Both suspects are African American men, police said. One is described as having light facial hair, while the other has a slimmer build, a mustache and a dark-colored skullcap, officials said.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Cook County Crime Stoppers, as a $1,000 cash reward is being offered to anyone with information that leads to an arrest.
