Downers Grove police investigate report of man taking photos of girls

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. (WLS) -- Police are investigating a report of a man taking pictures of two girls playing in front of a suburban Downers Grove home.

A man driving a minivan stopped in front of the home near 35th and Highland Avenue around 4:50 p.m. Tuesday and began taking pictures, police said. Police said the driver did not make contact with the girls.

Police released a sketch of the possible suspect. He is described as a man in his 20s or early 30s, driving an older model white Toyota minivan with black rims and a black a black luggage carrier.

Police also said they have stepped up patrols at all parks and schools.
