Plans for 22-story tower in Ed Debevic's space revealed

CHICAGO (WLS) -- River North residents are now deciding whether they're ready to welcome a condo complex in the space currently occupied by Ed Debevic's.

Developers showed off their plans for the land on Wells and Erie during a public meeting Tuesday night.

The 50s-styled diner is closing its River North location.

A development company wants to build a 22-story tower with residential units and commercial space.
