Pixar's new short film 'Kitbull' sheds light on treatment of animals

There's a new Pixar movie out that's bringing audiences to tears.

The short 8-minute film is named "Kitbull." It's about a fiercely independent stray kitten that befriends an abused pit bull and set in the San Francisco Mission District.

After becoming friends, the kitten helps the injured pit bull escape.

While the story is short, it sheds light on the treatment of animals.
