Ringo Starr artwork on display in Chicago

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Ringo Starr is in Chicago for an exhibit of his artwork on display at the Hard Rock Caf.

Ringo made an appearance at the Hard Rock Thursday night. Money raised by selling his works of art goes to the Lotus Foundation, which supports a variety of charity projects.

Ringo says he loves visiting Chicago when it's not wintertime.

"It's an open city, I wander round, there's not a lot of hustle here, I find," said Starr.

Ringo Starr will be performing at the Chicago Theatre Saturday night.
