Spike Lee to speak at Northwestern in March

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Director Spike Lee is returning to the Chicago area in March.



Lee is slated to speak at Northwestern University in an event sponsored by the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences, the Department of Political Science and the student-led Contemporary Thought Speaker Series.



The event, called "An Evening with Spike Lee," will include a screening of his film "Chiraq." It is scheduled for March 2.



Along with Lee, local Chicago activists who were involved with the film are expected to speak as well.



Tickets will only distributed to members of the Northwestern community, including students, faculty and staff with a Northwestern ID.
