FRANKFORT, Ill. (WLS) -- The 20th Camp Quality Illinois is underway in southwest suburban Frankfort. It provides a week-long camping experience for kids with cancer. Camp Quality started in Australia in 1983 and has since spread around the world. There are currently 15 camps in the United States. There is no charge to families for children to attend the camp.
Mary Lockton, executive director with Camp Quality Illinois, and camper Ashley Gustafik joined us live from the camp during our ABC 7 Eyewitness News Sunday Morning to tell us what the camp features for the children.
