CHICAGO (WLS) -- Summer means there are a lot of festival happening. Especially on the Independence Day holiday weekend, thousands are getting together at events for fun and fireworks.
One of the bigger events in the Chicago area is the Lakeside Festival in Crystal Lake. Siobhan Cottone, executive director, and Ronald W. Russell, fest chair, joined us live from the festival grounds during our ABC 7 Eyewitness News Sunday Morning to tell us about all the things you can experience at the event.
