Caring for lawn and plants during drought conditions

CHICAGO (WLS) -- If you haven't noticed, it's pretty dry outside. With very little rain over the past month, parts of the area are facing drought conditions.

Jennifer Brennan is a Horticulture Information Specialist with Chalet Nursery & Garden Center. Jennifer joined ABC7 to talk about the drought conditions and what plants look like if they are under stress from it.

Jennifer also gave advice on when to water plants and lawns during a drought.
