Gary school board to vote next week on closings

GARY, Ind. (WLS) -- After a meeting Thursday night about possible school closings, the Gary school board is expected to vote next week on the controversial issue.

Several schools are being considered for closing. The board put off a planned vote last Tuesday to get more community feedback.

Some members thought the process was being rushed.
