Girl falls from 3rd-story window on North Side

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 6-year-old girl was rushed to the hospital after falling out of a third-story window on Chicago's North Side.

Police said the child landed on the sidewalk around 10 p.m. Thursday in the 6200-block of North Ravenswood Avenue in the city's Rogers Park neighborhood.

The girl was rushed to Lurie Children's Hospital, where she is listed in critical condition.

Investigators are looking into how she fell.
