Gurnee police seek suspect in gas station armed robbery

GURNEE, Ill. (WLS) -- The Gurnee Police Department is asking for your help in solving an armed robbery captured by a security camera.

Police say the robber had a handgun, took cash and ran from the scene at a Citgo gas station on Route 132 Friday night.

Investigators released surveillance photos of the suspect. He was wearing a winter style hat and had a bandana covering his face.

Police are trying to determine if the same man is linked to two robberies in Waukegan over the weekend.
