Hatchimals arriving at Chicago area Walmart stores

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Hatchimals are one of the hottest toys this holiday season. They're so popular, stores are selling out of them!

But starting Thursday, Walmart stores in the Chicago area are restocking their shelves with them. They are being sold for $48.88.

Walmart said dozens of Hatchimals will be landing on shelves between December 8 and December 19. Customers are encourage to call ahead to their local store to check when the Hatchimals are expected to arrive within that timeframe.

Walmart said the following stores will be restocking Hatchimals:

- Walmart store #1401, 2552 W 75th St, Naperville

- Walmart store #1892, 9450 Joliet Rd, Hodgkins

- Walmart store #1556, 9265 159th St, Orland Hills

- Walmart store #1228, 2680 N Illinois 83, Round Lake Beach

- Walmart store #1413, 1205 S Illinois Rte 31, Crystal Lake

- Walmart store #1377, 3801 Running Brook Farm Blvd, Johnsburg

- Walmart store #1211, 21101 McGuire Rd, Harvard
