Cures Within Reach gala connected medical researchers with funding

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Sometimes networking can be a lifesaver, and that is the goal at the Cures Within Reach Gala.

The non-profit organization connects researchers with sources of funding to help uncover treatments for diseases without cures.

ABC7's own Judy Hsu served as the emcee for Tuesday night's gala.
