Chicago area veterans return home after visiting nation's capital

CHICAGO (WLS) -- There was a big welcome home at Midway Airport for 95 World War II vets from the Chicago area.

They returned from Washington D.C. after a day trip to the national memorials on Wednesday.

The organization Honor Flight Chicago pays all the expenses to make this happen.
