More than a dozen horses were rescued from rising water as their pasture flooded near Indianapolis.

BROWNSBURG, Ind. (WLS) -- More than a dozen horses were rescued from rising water as their pasture flooded near Indianapolis.

Heavy rain has led to flooding in the area. The horses were all rescued and no injuries were reported, officials said. People at the scene were able to catch and halter the horses and lead them to dry land. .

A man who saw the rescue on TV tried to enter the waters, leading Indiana Conservation Police to arrest him. Charles Knights Jr., 56, of Pittsboro, Ind., is charged with resisting law enforcement and criminal trespass. He's accused of swimming toward the rescuers and calling to the horses.

Knights was taken to Hendricks County Jail.
