Man, 24, shot in the face in Humboldt Park alleyway, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 24-year-old man is in critical condition after a shooting in an alleyway in the city's Humboldt Park neighborhood, police said.

The man was shot in the face behind the 1100-block of N. Lawndale Ave. Thursday afternoon, police said. He ran to a nearby Dunkin Donuts store, where he was then transported to a local hospital.

No other details have been released.
