3 hurt in rollover crash on SB I-57 near Manhattan-Monee Road

MONEE, Ill. (WLS) -- Three people were hurt in a rollover crash on southbound I-57 just past Manhattan-Monee Road Monday morning.

Illinois State Police said a pick-up truck hauling a trailer and a bobcat changed lane on I-57 and collided with a heavy-duty tow truck pulling a semi.

The pickup lost control and rolled over, state police said. The semi tractor and trailer disconnected and rolled into a ditch.

State police said three people were hurt in the crash. Their injuries were minor.

Southbound I-57 was closed near Manhattan-Monee Road to clear the crash. All lanes reopened a few hours later.
