4 injured after chase, gunfire on I-290

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A police chase on the Eisenhower Expressway ended with a car on its roof and several people injured, police said.

Officers say they saw someone in a car open fire on another car near Van Buren and Western around 4 a.m. Saturday. Police gave chase, and one of the cars flipped on the expressway near Kostner.

Four people were taken to the hospital and all are expected to recover.
