1 killed in motorcycle crash on I-65

LAKE STATION, Ind. (WLS) -- One person was killed in a crash involving a motorcycle on I-65 in northwest Indiana, police said.

The crash occurred Wednesday afternoon near I-80/94, police said. All northbound lanes except the far left lane were closed as crews worked to clear the scene, but the lanes have since re-opened.

The victim has been identified as 62-year-old Cory Mayberry of Portage, Ind., according to the Lake County Coroner's Office. He was pronounced dead at 3:35 p.m.

No other details have been released.
