Indiana Dunes pavilion renovation underway

CHESTERTON, Ind. (WLS) -- Work is underway to upgrade one of northwest Indiana's biggest tourist attractions.

Crews are renovating the Indiana Dunes State Park pavilion in Chesterton.

The multi-million dollar project includes new concession areas, several restaurants and a banquet facility.

The project is slated to be finished next year. But the new concession area could be done later this spring.
