Janet Jackson's tour reportedly on hold while father hospitalized

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Janet Jackson is reportedly putting her Unbreakable World Tour on hold to be with her father.

Joe Jackson suffered a stroke over the weekend in Brazil.

The pop icon was set to begin her tour on Aug. 31 but many entertainment sites are reporting she plans to be by her dad's side until he is in a more stable state.

Her brother Jermaine tweeted earlier this week their father remains in the hospital and is doing extremely well.

Janet Jackson has three concerts scheduled for Chicago in November.
