CHICAGO (WLS) -- JPMorgan Chase unveiled its plans for a major investment in Chicago's Chase Tower during a news conference Monday afternoon.
The investment will impact more than 7,000 employees who work in the downtown Chicago tower, according to a press release.

Mayor Brandon Johnson joined JPMorgan Chase Commercial Banking CEO Doug Petno for the announcement.
The 60-story tower at 10 S. Dearborn St. first opened in 1969.
The changes aim to better connect the building with the massive outdoor plaza and create a modern work environment.
JP Morgan Chase is one of Chicago's largest employers.
