CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man at the center of the Jackie Robinson West Little League scandal is breaking his silence.
Michael Kelley says he was not the one who rewrote the boundaries that led to the team losing its national title.
Little league International removed Kelley from his post as district administrator after he signed off on the new boundary map.
Kelley says he did sign off on the map, but it wasn't his responsibility to investigate it.
"We're full time volunteers, it's not paid," Kelley said. "Everything we do is a sacrifice. We give them everything, they approve everything."
Earlier this week lawyers for the team asked a judge to force little league international to answer questions about the decision to strip the team of their title.
