Woman injured in crash on outbound Kennedy near Kimball

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A woman was injured in a crash on the outbound Kennedy Expressway between North Kimball Avenue and West Addison Street.

Illinois State Police said her car struck a wall just before 2:05 a.m. Friday. Her vehicle was the only one involved in the crash.

She was transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Her condition is unknown. Her age was not released.

State police closed three lanes of the outbound Kennedy for several hours to investigate the crash. All lanes reopened around 6 a.m.
