Man stabbed in Lakeview

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man was stabbed Sunday night in the Lakeview neighborhood on the city's North Side, police said.

The man, who is in stable condition, was attacked at about 11 p.m. in the 1000-block of West Belmont Avenue, police said. He was stabbed in the shoulder and midsection. The attacker then ran away.

The victim took himself to Weiss Memorial Hospital.
