Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James has broken the NBA postseason record for most games with at least 30 points, five rebounds and five assists.
During Wednesday night's 97-89 victory over Atlanta in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, James scored 31 points, eight rebounds and six assists. It was his 52nd playoff game to achieve the 30-5-5 stat. He has played in 169 postseason games.
James had previously been tied Michael Jordan for the record with 51 games. Jordan set his 30-5-5 best in 179 postseason appearances.
The Cleveland Cavaliers lead the Atlanta Hawks 1-0 in the series.
