2 men tried to lure girls into van in Lincoln Park, police said

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police are warning residents of Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood of two men who tried to lure two girls into a van.

A community alert said the incident occurred in the 300-block of West Webster Avenue around 4:20 p.m. on May 15. Police said the girls refused and ran off, and the men drove away.

Police gave a vague description of the men in the van. One suspect was a Caucasian man around 20 years old with straight, brown hair. They said he was wearing goggles. The other suspect was a Hispanic man around 20 years old with brown hair.

Police said the van was white and had four windows.
