Barbershop Books Helps Young Boys Learn the Joy of Reading

Barbershop Books is a community-based literacy program that aims to encourage young boys of color to read. The program puts a colorful book-shelf in a local barbershop that holds books curated to young boy's tastes and provides a safe space for them to come and read in a positive environment.
