19-year-old shot in University Village, police say
A 19-year-old man was shot in University Village on Sunday, Chicago police said.
The victim was walking through an alley at about 3:50 a.m. in the 1100-Block of West Roosevelt Road, police said.
He was approached by a man with a gun, police said.
The shooter struck the victim in the face then shot him, police said.
The victim was shot in the leg and was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition.

Woman shot inside Lawndale home, police say
A woman was shot while inside a Lawndale home on Sunday, Chicago police said.
The shooting happened at about 4:41 a.m. in the 1400-Block of South St. Louis Avenue, CPD said.
A 25-year-old woman was inside a residence when she was shot.
She was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in serious condition.
CPD say the shooting likely happened outside the house.

2 shooting victims arrive to Mt. Sinai Hospital Sunday: CPD
Two men arrived to Mt. Sinai Hospital on Sunday morning with gunshot wounds, Chicago police said.
CPD said a 27-year-old and a 29-year-old arrived to the hospital with gunshot wounds.
The 29-year-old had multiple gunshot wounds to the body and was listed in critical condition.
The 27-year-ol was shot in the leg. He was expected to be OK.

A 30-year-old man was shot in Lawndale on Sunday, Chicago police said.
The shooting happened at about 3:12 a.m. in the 2200-Block of South Keeler Avenue, police said.
The 30-year-old victim arrived to Mt. Sinai Hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg.
He was expected to be OK.
