14 shot, 2 killed in weekend gun violence across Chicago, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- At least 14 people have been shot and two were killed in gun violence across Chicago so far this weekend, police said.

Man shot while riding scooter in Roseland Sunday morning, Chicago police say
A 24-year-old man was shot while riding a scooter in Roseland on Sunday morning, Chicago police said.
The shooting happened at about 9:11 a.m. in the 100-Block of East 100th Street, police said.
CPD said the 24-year-old was on an electric scooter when someone got out of a black SUV and shot the victim.
The victim was shot in the leg and was taken to Christ Hospital and was expected to be OK.
20-year-old shot in Little Village, police say
A 20-year-old man was shot in the 2200-block of South Sacramento Avenue on Sunday, Chicago police said.
CPD said the man was outside at about 3:41 a.m. when he heard gunshots and felt pain.
He was shot in the right hip and self-transported to Mt. Sinai in serious condition.
No other information was available.
Man shot in West Englewood, police say
A 31-year-old man was shot in the 6100-Block of South Damen Avenue on Saturday night, Chicago police said.
The shooting happened at about 11:52 p.m.
The man was outside when a group allegedly approached him.
CPD said someone in the group started shooting
The victim was taken to the University of Chicago hospital with a gunshot wound to the left leg. He was expected to be OK.
Man self-transports to hospital after shooting in Mount Greenwood, police say
A 34-year-old man was found in the 2300 block of S. Trumbull Avenue on Saturday night, Chicago police said.
The shooting happened at about 10:15 p.m., police said.
The man was a passenger in a silver car, when a black car pulled up and started shooting.
The victim was shot in the right hand. He arrived to an area hospital and is expected to be OK.
