CHICAGO (WLS) -- At least 39 people have been shot, six fatally, in shootings across Chicago so far this weekend, police said.

4 shot in Auburn Gresham, Chicago police say

Four people were shot Saturday evening on the city's South Side.

The shooting happened around 7:17 p.m. in the 8500 block of South Sangamon Street in Auburn Gresham, Chicago police said.

Four were shot, with two critically injured, Saturday on South Sangamon Street in Auburn Gresham, Chicago police said.

CPD said a car drove by the victims and started shooting.

The 43-year-old was shot in the leg, and the victim whose age was not known was shot in the abdomen, CPD said. They were both taken to hospitals in critical condition.

The other two victims were also shot, but they declined medical attention, police said.

No further information was available as Chicago police continue to investigate.

31-year-old man shot in East Chatham, Chicago police say

A 31-year-old man was shot in East Chatham on Saturday afternoon, Chicago police said.

CPD said the shooting happened at about 1:47 p.m. in the 8000-block of S. Ingleside Avenue.

The man was outside when he was shot in the left flank.

He was taken to University of Chicago hospital in critical condition.

Suspect shoots into car, injuring 16-year-old boy in Humboldt Park: police

A suspect shot into a car, injuring a teenage boy on the city's Northwest Side early Saturday morning, Chicago police said.

Police said the shooting happened around midnight in the Humboldt Park neighborhood's 3800-block of West Hirsch Street.

Police said a 16-year-old boy, who was a passenger in that car, suffered a gunshot wound to the body. The victim self-transported to Humboldt Park Health and was transferred to Stroger Hospital, where he is listed in good condition.

CCL holder shoots man in Garfield Ridge, police say

A CCL holder shot a man in Garfield Ridge on Friday, Chicago police said.

The shooting happened in the 6200-block of West 53rd Street at about 7:13 p.m.

CPD said a 42-year-old man got into an argument with a woman and a man who were inside a car.

The 42-year-old approached the car, then the man got out of the car and started to shoot.

The victim was shot in the abdomen. He was taken to Christ Hospital in fair condition.

The man who fired the shots has a valid CCL and FOID card, police said. He was taken in for questioning and was cooperating.
