Madigan guilty on total 10 counts; not guilty on 7

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The jury in Michael Madigan's federal corruption trial found the former Illinois House speaker guilty on several counts as part of a partial verdict.
The blockbuster trial has taken several months.

ABC7 Chicago had a brief exchange with Madigan as he waited to cross the street moments after the guilty verdict was handed over.
ABC7 Staff: "How are you feeling Mr. Madigan?"
Madigan: "How are you? - You're the one we're concerned about."
Jurors could not decide on McClain's fate and were deadlocked.
ABC7 Chicago caught up with the co-defendant and his defense attorney Patrick Cotter as they walked out.
When asked how he was feeling - he said his head was spinning but he guesses he was happy. He also said he had "great lawyers."
When asked if he was surprised - he said he was surprised to get indicted.
The ex-speaker was found not guilty on all four charges related to the Union West development:
Count 15 was specific to the alleged scheme by Madigan to get developer of Union West luxury apartment development in the West Loop to hire Madigan's law firm in exchange for Solis "help with zoning.'"
He was also not guilty on count 16, 17 and 18 on travel act.
On the charges related to Madigan's State Board position, the juror found the ex-speaker guilty on count 8, 9 and 10 on wire fraud.
He was found not guilty on count 11 of bribery. This count specifically alleges Madigan took steps to find a state board postion for former 25th Ward Ald. Daniel Solis through the admins of incoming Gov. J.B. Pritzker
Madigan was found guilty on count 12, 13, 14 on travel acts.
In Madigan's charges related to COMED; jurors found Madigan guilty on count 2 bribery conspiracy, not guilty con count 3 to bribery, guilty on count 4 bribery, count 5 travel act, count 6 bribery, and not guilty on count 7 travel act.
