Man, 20, shot on Michigan Avenue in South Side

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 20-year-old man was shot in the city's South Side, police say.

The victim was shot in the back and buttocks in the 3000-block of South Michigan Avenue around 3:30 p.m. Thursday, police said. An offender allegedly walked up, fired shots and fled in a dark-colored sedan, police said.

The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
