Man found shot near Willis Tower dies

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police said a 26-year-old man has died of his wounds after being found shot near the Willis Tower Wednesday night.

Police said the man was found unresponsive on the sidewalk at South Franklin Street and West Van Buren Street with gunshot wounds to the chest and leg. He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in grave condition.

Police said they are investigating the possibility that this was a suicide.
