62-year-old man shot, robbed in Humboldt Park

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 62-year-old man was shot and robbed in Chicago's Humboldt Park neighborhood.

Police said two men, one armed with a gun, approached him in the 3700-block of West Thomas Street just before midnight. They took his wallet and shot him in the knee before running away.

The victim was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he is recovering.
