CHICAGO (WLS) -- A bank robbery suspect who is accused of using a CTA Blue Line train to get away is now also accused of trying to steal from two downtown stores a day later.
Police say Matthew Taglia allegedly tried to hold up a store on West Madison and a hotel gift shop on North Michigan Wednesday morning. Investigators say he didn't get any cash from either store.
Taglia is suspected of robbing a Fifth Third bank Tuesday in the South Loop. In that incident, he allegedly got away with money.
No charges have been filed in the case.
