Metra BNSF trains temporarily halted near Cicero after truck hits bridge

CICERO, Ill. (WLS) -- Metra BNSF trains were stopped for a short time in both directions near Cicero Wednesday morning after a truck hit a bridge, officials said.

Metra sent out an alert around 7:40 a.m. Trains started moving again about ten minutes later, with 15-20 minute delays.

Metra officials did not release further information about the crash.
