Body found near tracks on Metra UP-West line

GLEN ELLYN, Ill. (WLS) -- A body was discovered by a Metra operator near the tracks on the Union Pacific-West line, officials said.

The body was found between Glen Ellyn and Wheaton just before 7 p.m. Saturday, officials said. It's unclear if the person was hit by a train.

Police are continuing to investigate.
