RIVER FOREST, Ill. (WLS) -- Metra UP-West trains resumed normal service several hours after a train was stuck on the tracks near River Forest due to a mechanical failure, officials said.

Metra officials said the train was stopped for more than an hour as engineers and mechanics fixed it. The train was originally scheduled to arrive at the Ogilvie Transportation Center at 4:35 p.m.
