Chicago gala celebrates work of Metropolitan Family Services

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A gala held in Chicago Saturday celebrated the work of Metropolitan Family Services.

The event in the New East Side neighborhood raised money for the organization, which works to strengthen Chicago's families and communities.

ABC7 Eyewitness News Anchor Alan Krashesky was the emcee.

Last year's event raised more than $1 million.
