CHICAGO (WLS) -- An appeals court has ruled that Michael Pace, the gunman who shot and killed a teenager on board a CTA bus, will be resentenced.
He was sentenced to 100 years in prison for the murder of Julian High School student Blair Holt, who was killed as he tried to shield a friend from gunfire.
The appeals court ruled the judge in the case was biased in the original sentencing, and it could be reduced down to 57 years.
No date has been set for the resentencing.
