Man critically injured in hit-and-run near Millennium Park

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man has been critically injured after being struck in a hit-and-run near Millennium Park Sunday night, Chicago police said.

The 24-year-old man was hit by a vehicle traveling south on Columbus Drive near Monroe Avenue at about 11:11 p.m., police said.

The car sped away from the crash, police said. The victim was transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in critical condition.

Police have not released a description of the suspect's vehicle. No one is in custody.
