Missing 6-year-old Indiana girl found safe, police say

NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WLS) -- A Silver Alert issued by Indiana authorities for a 6-year-old girl has been canceled.

Police canceled the Silver Alert as of 10:50 p.m. at the request of the New Haven Police Department.

Police said she was found safe. No further details were released.

New Haven is 133 miles northeast of Indianapolis.
